Animal Hut opened it's doors on May 1st 1989. We have been proudly serving pets and their owners in Penn Hills and surrounding communities ever since. We CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS and your needs. Our groomers are professionals with 12-25+ years of experience grooming all breeds of dogs and cats. Animal Hut's owner Renee Lauer specializes in the Bichon Frise, and has 28+ years of experience grooming, showing, and breeding Bichons. We are always happy to answer your questions and give suggestions on issues you may be experiencing with your pets. Grooming is by appointment only. We offer walk-in nail trimming for dogs and cats Tuesday through Saturday between 9:30AM and 3:30pm.
In addition to our expert grooming service our retail area carries dog and cat supplies including foods (Blue Buffalo, Merrick, and Nutri Source including Pure Vita), collars, harnesses, leashes, toys, American rawhide, shampoos, grooming tools, flea products, pet carriers, dog crates, Greenies, dental care items and other helpful health products, just to name a few!

Brushing and combing daily helps keep your pet cleaner, fluffier and promotes healthy skin and coat.
