How did you hone your craft?

I’ve always had the ability to communicate with animals and spirits. After a career-ending injury as a nurse, I realized it was time to embrace my true calling: helping animals, especially pets and their parents.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Here’s a tool to help you navigate the grief both before and after your pet’s transition. Losing a pet is one of the most emotionally painful experiences, and it’s important to allow yourself time to grieve without judgment. Set a timer for 30 minutes each day for seven days. During this time, let any and all feelings arise, no matter what they are. When the alarm goes off, shift your focus to a picture of your pet that brings you joy and gaze at it for 30 seconds. Then, look at another photo—one from a moment that exceeded your expectations but doesn’t include your pet—and do the same. You can extend the time or continue beyond seven days if needed. This practice helps manage the intensity of your grief and brings balance to your emotions.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

Throughout my journey in the medical field as a massage therapist, paramedic, nurse, and now as an End of Life (EOL) Doula, I’ve honed the skill of medical intuition. This ability has been especially helpful for pet parents who are uncertain about the reasons behind their pet’s passing.
