Well in Hand - Equine, Canine, Small Animal Massage - Perkasie, PA
For over ten years, Well in Hand Massage has provided massage therapy to dogs and horses, and to other quadrupeds (or tripawds) as needed, including wolves, cats, rabbits, sheep, mules, and pigs!
Well in Hand utilizes Sports Massage, which addresses muscular issues throughout the entire body, as one focal issue can cause compensation strain throughout the body. Sport massage can be used as a warm up or a cool down, and promotes circulation and improved muscle tone for dogs recovering from immobility, atrophy, and injury.
Sports Massage has a broad range of applications, from addressing the traditional hind end weakness in senior dogs to assisting mobility impaired dogs in becoming independently mobile.
Well in Hand particularly loves to focus on special needs dogs who are unable to walk on their own and getting them walking by themselves!
Performance and Pleasure horses alike particularly benefit from massage therapy; especially those horses who seem to never be able to gain a topline! One massage can sometimes be all it takes to suddenly have a very round horse!
Our animal clients are all ages, and many species, but they all have had their lives improved in incredible ways through massage.
Well in Hand also provides cold laser therapy for joint issues, wound healing and soft tissue recovery!
Please note that massage is not a substitute for proper medical intervention - f your pet has just suffered an acute injury and has lost the use of their hind limbs or other significant function, etc., you will need to see a vet before an initial massage is performed.
Additionally, appointments do book out several weeks in advance so please plan ahead when possible and your patience and understanding are appreciated!
Check out one of our previously paralyzed clients in her Dodo debut! At 2:20 you can hear how massage turned things around for Olive!
Please contact and book me on Petworks. Thank you so much.
