TranquilPET, Dog Swims, Holistic Care, Pet First Aid & CPR - Nationwide

TranquilPET, Dog Swimming & Holistic Pet Care, is an “all-inclusive” pet service that offers a support system for your dog, specializing in warm water swimming for fitness, lessons and injury recovery.

All of my work with dogs is accomplished "face-to-face," but because of COVID-19, I have, unfortunately, had to shut my doors temporarily. However, because the needs of our dogs continues during this “new normal,” I immediately adapted all my “in-person” classes and workshops to teach them online via zoom with numerous adjustments: Examples:

• Dog Swimming: If the pet parent or their friend has a pool, I will come to their home and work with their dog (all keeping within the parameters of social distancing).

• Animal Massage: Learn to Give Your Own Dog a Relaxation Massage; classes are now taught virtually one-to-one-to-one online. (In-person classes, BYOD (Bring Your Own Dog to class) is temporarily suspended due to Covid-19.

• Meditation Reiki Sessions: offered in-person (social distancing honored) and virtually online one-to-one-to-one.

• Learn Reiki workshops: This workshop is currently being adapted and updated in order to teach online.

• Learn to Give Your Dog a Monthly Wellness Exam: I teach you how and why the importance of giving your pet a monthly check-up virtually, one-to-one-to-one (you, your dog and TranquilPET). How is this done? You adjust your computer screen so I can see your pet and your hands on your pet. This is done so I can watch your pet's reactions to your touch and also make sure your hands are in the correct position.

• Senior Pet Care: A class I created to give you some guidance in identifying health issues in your senior dog. I also touch upon the taboo subject of euthanasia --- a topic that all pet parents have difficulty coming to terms. I help guide you through these murky waters and give you the tools to help you make that very difficult decision. I also discuss self-care and the importance of a Quality of Life Scale.

• Animals & Essential Oils (How to Properly & Safely Offer Essential Oils to Your Pets). There is a lot of misinformation about the use and safety of essential oils. I hold a monthly virtual presentation to put those myths to rest.

• Pet First Aid & CPR class: Look for this "in-person" class to resume soon! (Normally, I teach only 10 people in live class; at present time, only 5 people will be allowed to attend, following all Covid-19 policies and social distancing.)
