Dr. Sarah Daane-Froehlich's fascination with acupuncture dates back to her veterinary school days. Graduating with a DVM from the University of Illinois in 1986, she embarked on a diverse veterinary career spanning small animal, equine, and mixed animal clinics. Her journey into holistic practices began in 1998 with acupuncture, followed by chiropractic treatments in 2003 and the addition of craniosacral therapy in 2005. Recognized as a certified veterinary acupuncturist by the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and accredited in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, Dr. Sarah is an esteemed member of IVAS, AVCA, the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture, and the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association. Passionate about holistic medicine, she actively pursues ongoing education in diverse holistic modalities. Dr. Sarah's equestrian passion is vast and encompasses a spectrum of disciplines, from dressage, trail riding, and horse packing to hunter/jumpers, combined training/eventing, and even dabbling in polo. Her experience extends to herding horses, cattle, and sheep, and she's contributed her expertise to endurance rides while reveling in the world of gaited horses. Presently, she shares her life with one horse, two dogs, and a cat. Engaging with agility dogs brings her joy, often showcasing her expertise at local agility trials.
