Sarah's Pet Care Revolution works with loving pet owners who want their pets to be safe and happy on a daily basis. We provide thoughtful pet sitting, dog walking, and owner support that intentionally respect the pet, the family, the community, and the planet.
Sarah Covert, a native of New Orleans, is an alumna of Benjamin Franklin High School and Newcomb College at Tulane University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Prior to founding Sarah's Pet Care Revolution in November 2010, Sarah worked as a professional in the nonprofit and social justice sectors.
Her previous roles included serving as a Recruitment Fellow at Teach For America, a Program Associate, and later as the Southern Strategy Coordinator at the Ms. Foundation for Women, as well as working as a Policy and Media Coordinator at the Juvenile Justice Project of Louisiana. Inspired by the serenity she experienced around her own cats, Matrix and Peanut, Sarah continued her family's entrepreneurial tradition (which includes Casey's Snowballs, Covert's Shoes, and L&L Furrier) by launching her small business.
In 2015, she received a certificate in entrepreneurship from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program at Delgado. Currently, Sarah is pursuing her MBA at the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane, where she also serves as a Career Consultant for undergraduate business students.

Our staff are well taken care of. We pay them as W-2 workers so pay employer payroll tax and worker's comp.
