Ruff World Training - Private Dog Training Service - Brookville, PA
We teach people and dogs to happily live together through a variety of services from puppy and obedience classes to behavior modification and pet CPR and first aid.
I wake up early in the morning and my first thought is always about the dogs I'll be working with that day. As a dog trainer, my job is to help these furry friends become their best selves, and it's a responsibility I take very seriously.
I start my day by reviewing my schedule and preparing any training materials I'll need for the day's sessions. I also take time to review notes from previous sessions to track each dog's progress and to ensure I'm providing the best possible training program for each individual dog.
When I arrive at the training facility, I'm greeted by barks and wagging tails as the dogs eagerly anticipate their training sessions. I start each session with a warm-up routine to get the dogs focused and energized. Then, I begin working on specific training exercises, such as obedience training, leash walking, or agility training.
One of the most rewarding aspects of being a dog trainer is watching the progress the dogs make. It's amazing to see their confidence grow as they learn new skills and behaviors. Seeing a dog who was once anxious or fearful become more comfortable and happy is one of the best feelings in the world.
Of course, being a dog trainer also comes with its challenges. Sometimes, dogs can be stubborn or resistant to training, which can be frustrating. But, as a trainer, it's my job to find new approaches and techniques to help each dog succeed.
At the end of each training session, I take time to debrief with the dog's owner, sharing progress updates and offering tips and advice for continued training at home. It's important to me that the owners feel supported and empowered to continue their dog's training journey beyond our sessions.
Being a dog trainer is not just a job, but a true passion of mine. The opportunity to work with these incredible animals and help them live their best lives is truly rewarding, and I feel fortunate to be able to do this work every day.
Please contact and book me through Petworks. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to serving you.
