Rehabilitation Veterinarian - Pet Physical Therapy - Glendale, AZ
With 14 years of family veterinary medicine practice experience and more than 12 years of exclusive physical rehabilitation experience and expertise, Dr. Jarvis provides a comprehensive mobility evaluation for dogs and cats of all ages.
Once an evaluation is complete, she customizes a treatment plan including targeted strengthening, balance and proprioception exercises, functional movements, stretching, massage, manual therapy, and modalities including laser/light therapy, PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic field) therapy, Neuromuscular electrical stimulation therapy, and TENS therapy. Dr. Jarvis can assist with selecting and using the right mobility assistive devices including carts, harnesses, ramps, and traction aids, along with braces and support wraps. Dr. Jarvis also creates custom plans for pain management, especially chronic pain. Each visit is one-on-one with Dr. Jarvis who is trained in a fear-free approach to help reduce anxiety and promote a comforting and friendly encounter with your unique furry family member.
