How did you hone your craft?

I honed my craft through a blend of formal education, relentless training, and hands-on experience. Growing up in Pittsburgh and earning my degree at Penn State laid the groundwork, but the real mastery came from dedicating countless hours to learning about animal behavior and welfare. I immersed myself in ongoing education—attending workshops, shadowing experts, and constantly refining my approach—to ensure every pet I care for receives the best attention possible. Through practice, compassion, and a commitment to understanding each pet’s unique personality, I’ve transformed challenges into opportunities for growth, turning even the most timid or nervous animals into confident, happy companions.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

One key tip I’d share is to approach pet care with patience, integrity, and a deep commitment to your pet’s quality of life. In my experience, every animal has its own unique personality and needs, and taking the time to understand them is essential. When you consistently invest time and love into nurturing your pet, you not only build trust but also create a foundation for a happy, healthy relationship.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I know exactly how it feels to leave your beloved pet behind when you travel—I’ve been there with my own dog. That “knot in your stomach” and the guilt you feel are real, and I’m here to ease those worries. Known around town as the “dog guy,” I’ve loved and cared for animals all my life. Each pet has its own personality, and I treat them as part of my own family. With extensive training in animal behavior and hands-on experience with every type of pet, I’m committed to providing the kind of care that comforts both you and your furry friend. If your pet is your world, rest assured—you’re in good hands with me.
