Pet Loss Grief Support Group - Zoom Meeting. Founded 2004 - Nationwide
Pet Loss Support Group - Monthly meeting via Zoom. Reservations are required to attend. Founded in 2005.
Welcome to all pet lovers. Attend our support group when dealing with loss, or anticipated loss, of your beloved companion.
Our one-of-a-kind support group offers a safe community in which to share and process all the messy and confusing feelings of loss. Only true pet lovers attend this Support Group. You’ll find there is no need to explain why your furry, feathered, or scaled family member is so important to you, or why it hurts so much. We get it. Attending our group is a great way to honor your fallen hero. Share photos and stories about your pet, what happened, or how you’re coping with your loss all while surrounded by others who share your feelings of grief and missing their beloved pet(s).
WHEN: Saturday TIME: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm (PST)
Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month. ***Exception: If the first Saturday of the month is a holiday weekend, the group will meet the second Saturday of the month. You are encouraged to contact us to confirm meeting dates. We do our best to offer a second monthly meeting. If interested, please do inquire as the date varies.
HOW to JOIN:
To adhere with HIPAA-compliance and Telehealth confidentiality guidelines, we have a B.A.A with Zoom. You will need wi-fi and may join our meeting from a PC, Mac, iPad, Tablet, iPhone, or Android device.
RSVPs and WHY RSVPs ARE REQUIRED:
With your RSVP, a Zoom invitation link will be emailed to you between 12:15p and 12:30p the day of the meeting. Open your emailed invitation at 12:30p on the day of the Support Group, scroll down and click on the link. You will be connected. You may need to adjust your mic and camera once in the meeting.
AUTOMATIC RSVP (PetWorks calls this "booking")
PetWorks has transitioned from a Directory to a booking platform and made changes to the ways pet parents interact with pet pros. It is now necessary to pay first, through the PetWorks platform, which will serve as your RSVP to attend our Pet Loss Support Group. It's a new process so, fingers crossed, we will see how it goes.
Reservations (RSVPs)
RSVPs are required to attend in order to receive your Zoom meeting invitation link.
Please include:
Name: your full name
email address:
telephone number:
RSVP DEADLINE:
RSVPs are required by 5:00pm PDT on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting. This gives us enough time to process your RSVP and get your contact information uploaded to email the Zoom invitation link.
FEE:
The standard fee to attend is $25. If $25 is not affordable, we can adjustment the fee but not through the PetWorks booking platform. We're working on how to make these adjustments. One possibility is we can invoice your a smaller amount should you attend a second visit, as we can discuss this when we meet.
HOW TO PAY:
PetWorks has transitioned from a Directory to a Booking platform. This means today's payment will go through PetWorks. Traditionally, and if you attend in the future, we use Square. An invoice is emailed to you following the Support Group. Credit cards, HSA, FSA, etc., are accepted through this invoice. For security reasons, we do not keep credit card information on file. A small processing fee is added to offset Square's (the credit agency’s) processing fee. Example: A $25 payment has 3% + $.30 = $1.05 added.
You are welcome to attend our one-of-a-kind, original Pet Loss Support Group. We're here to help.
