Pet Loss Bereavement Support - Nationwide
Specializing in affordable, compassionate pet loss support. I am a Certified Pet Loss Bereavement Specialist and life-long animal lover who understands how very difficult the death of a pet can be. As a result of my own grief journeys over the years, I am passionate about helping other pet parents as they navigate the many emotions and challenges that are a natural part of losing a best friend, constant companion, and much-loved member of the family.
Losing a Pet
For many, the loss of their pet is one of the hardest things they will ever go through. Some of the many issues that the grieving pet parent may be faced with, particularly in the early days and weeks after a loss, include:
- guilt;
- extreme sadness;
- lack of energy;
- sleep disturbances;
- change in appetite;
- mental confusion;
- rumination / re-playing distressing thoughts;
...and more.
How I Can Help
I offer one-on-one pet loss support for adult pet parents (21 years of age or older) throughout the US via Zoom. Sessions provide a safe, non-judgmental space in which you can share what you are experiencing and feel supported as you grieve the loss of your cherished animal companion. The emphasis is on identifying and working through what you are experiencing, and on exploring strategies to help promote healing. In addition to virtual pet loss support services, I have written several booklets on pet loss grief, including a 45-page Pet Loss Grief Workbook as a guide to processing this painful experience (please contact me for more information or to order a copy).
What to Expect
- All pet loss support sessions with me are strictly confidential.
- The cost is $35 per full, 60-minute session or $25 per 30-minute "mini" session.
- Seniors (60 years of age or older) are eligible for a discounted rate of $25 for a 60-minute session.
- Sessions are conducted via Zoom.
- Each session includes any digital materials or other resources specific to your needs.
How to Book a Session with Me
For more information or to book a session with me, please start by clicking the SEND MESSAGE link under my profile picture to send me a description of your loss (name, type and age of pet; circumstances around the loss, including when it occurred), and the type of support you are seeking. I will be back in touch with you as soon as possible, usually within the same day.
Warmest regards,
