Peaceful Paws Pet Massage Therapy - Charleston, SC
Stacey Minshall RN, Certified Canine Massage Therapist
I developed an interest in canine massage when my aging English Mastiff, Rufus, started having arthritic problems in his hind-end. Massage was suggested as a therapy and Rufus loved it! The results of his sessions were easy to see - he had more energy, increased range of motion and a more fluid gait. Overall he was more comfortable after his sessions.
After seeing how this therapy benefited Rufus, I trained to become a certified canine massage therapist and subsequently studied trigger point therapy to augment my skills. Working as a cardiothoracic step-down nurse (previous career) made an easy transition to a massage therapist. The anatomy and physiology I learned during school and subsequently used to take care of my human patients has complimented my practice for the last 8 years. My goal is improve your dog's quality of life and bring them comfort.
