Welcome! My name is Steven, owner founder of Our Home Dog Boarding. I started Our Home Dog Boarding after putting my furry friend Max in a kennel for a few days. I came back to a traumatized and sick pet. I had a house with a large fenced-in yard and the idea of home dog boarding for extra income occurred to me. I passed out some flyers and Steven & Max’s Dog Boarding was born. We loved it! Dogs of every size, breed, and personality came through our door. When I had to start turning dogs away due to the increasing popularity of my services, that was when I recruited a network of dog lovers in the Delaware Valley that would enjoy pet sitting in their homes. I looked for experienced dog owners with pet-safe homes and fenced-in yards. They had to be stay-at-home folks, either retired or people who worked from home. We are mindful of the personalities of the pets when we put them in their temporary home. We limit the number of dogs per host. We are also careful to place the pet with an appropriate pet provider.
