Nerdy K9 Academy specializes in highly trained instructors to assist owners with obedience and behavior issues. We offer group classes, virtual sessions, and in person private sessions.
One of our big clients bases are local dog rescues. We assist with dogs that are in foster care and dogs that have been adopted from a variety of circumstances. I worked as an Animal Control Officer for 15 years, ran a local K9 search and rescue group, volunteering for local rescues for 12 years, and finally opened my own business in 2018. I have worked with a variety of dogs and temperments.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
The best tip is to start training before you have a problem!
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
My dogs are my world. I have seen the worst of the worst and best of the best in both people and animals. I love my job every single day.
