Modern Tintype - Pet Photographer - Los Angeles, CA
Modern Tintype specializes in creating hand-crafted photos on metal produced the same way they were during the 19th century. Tintypes are a very beautiful sort of image — each shot is a one-off positive captured on a layer of pure silver, with a tonality and chemical signature all its own. They are also very archival: they can be expected to last for at least 150 years. Animals tend to come across spectacularly with the process, and I really love the challenge (and it can be!) of capturing them.
