Mary's Pet Project - Modesto, CA
There is no place like home, so we go to our pet clients' homes for visits and overnight stays. We get to know the individual personalities and needs of our pet clients and customize our services so routines remain as close to normal as possible while owners are away at work or on vacation. We also offer dog walking for those who don't have the time or ability to take their dogs out. No pack walks, only one household at a time, so the dogs get more individualized attention. We take care of a wide variety of animals, not just cats and dogs. Our goal is pampered pets and peace of mind.

How did you hone your craft?
I have been providing in-home pet care for years, even before I opened my business. As a former teacher, I prefer the four-legged kids to the two-legged ones... they are happier to see me when I show up.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Treat your pets as part of the family, because they are. When establishing routines with your pets, consider if that is a routine you want to live with, every day. Lastly, you can never love them too much.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I am extremely detail-oriented and used to working with kids who all have their unique needs and personalities. I will take care of and love your babies as if they were my own.
