KK9 Dog Training provides gentle, one-on-one training for dogs and the people who love them. Positive reinforcement strategies include "Control Unleashed" (Leslie McDevitt) protocols. The CU framework allows dogs to learn in the context of patterns. Providing predictability and choice for learners builds trust and strengthens the human/animal bond.
Our training facility in CO serves local clients, but we are providing online training to pet parents ANYWHERE!
Online training often proves to be the best option for dogs with anxiety and reactivity issues. By avoiding one more change, trigger, or thing for the dog to deal with, we can zero in on helping the dog right away!
Consultations regarding specific behavior concerns are available. Training plans and protocols are established to meet unique struggles and individual needs. Please contact and book us through Petworks. Have a great day!

My background as an educator and knowledge of applied behavior analysis was a strong foundation for becoming a dog trainer. After studying dog training on my own and mentoring with a certified trainer, I obtained my certification from CCPDT. I am a life-long learner and am continuously studying and learning!
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Frequency tops duration! Play a game or practice a skill when you have 3 minutes rather than waiting for a chunk of free time to "do training".
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
Some trainers want to work with dogs and not people, but I love working with the wonderful people who want the best for their dogs!
