K2 Pet Training and Resources - Private Dog Trainers - Goldsboro, PA
K2 Pet Training and Resources is a small, local company with a huge heart that provides compassionate care to our clients. We provide Training and Grooming services to help deliver the best continuity of care to you and your fur babies. K2 practices Positive Reinforcement Training methods and carries that philosophy along with our love for animals into everything we do. We feel that dogs have the most success when they are able to train in their own environment and at their own pace, so we come to you and create a customized plan for you and your pup with our private training services. Our Board and Train services are a great option to build a foundation when you are unable to dedicate the time up front to training your pet, or when more skilled hands are needed to address behavioral issues. What year did you begin serving pets?
I've been training dogs since 2018 after completing a Certified Dog Trainer course with Animal Behavior College. K2 has been in business since December of 2019. I've been grooming dogs since 2019.
How did you hone your craft?
I've worked with an amazing mentor who had 20+ years of experience training dogs in all capacities. I received a great foundation to carry into my own business and I am now a mentor for other new trainers. I also continue to learn through additional training and recently completed the Service Dog Trainer program with ABC.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Not everything changes overnight. Training takes patience and hard work, almost a lifestyle change. If you don't put in the effort, you won't see the results.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I have been told that I am a natural in my craft and have the patience of a Saint when it comes to working with dogs. My first career was in Human Resources so I carry that professionalism with me everywhere I go, and I carry my love for animals into everything I do.
