How did you hone your craft?
Have studied animal behavior for over 25 years, both in the field and academically. Was chosen to develop and manage the canine program under the Director of Animal Behavioral Services at Escondido Humane Society. Our program eliminated euthanasia of adoptable dogs, achieving the San Diego Animal Welfare Coalition's (SDAWC) initiative of Getting to Zero (G20). Went on to successfully run play groups of multiple breeds and sizes. Specialized in dog to dog intros and matching beneficial play styles. Have taught private lessons, classes, and workshops.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
When given the choice, be kind. And, you always have the choice in front of you. To treat your pet as you would like to be treated.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
Inspire Canine Behavior Counseling & Training is a fear and intimidation-free practice.
