Horse Dancing Reiki - Nationwide
Hi, I'm Susan T. Blake, a Reiki Practitioner and Master Teacher, certified by the International Center for Reiki Training. I began my Reiki training in 2014, and I began working with horses and other animals in 2015. I offer Reiki sessions in-person and remotely, and I teach Level I, Level II and Advanced Reiki Training/Master level classes. Level I practitioners can share hands-on Reiki with others (human or otherwise), and any Reiki practitioner who has received the Level II training can share Reiki from a distance.
What IS Reiki? Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. The term “Reiki” is composed of two Japanese words: “Rei,” which means “universal” or “God’s wisdom,” and “ki,” or “life energy.” You may have heard the Chinese terms “chi” or “qi” or the Indian term “prana,” which are referring to the same life energy.
Reiki can …
… soothe anxiousness
… release tension
… support a body’s own healing abilities
… complement other healing modalities.
Reiki practitioners are trained to work with an individual’s ki, or chi, through light touch. Reiki can remove blockages to the individual’s ki, helping it to flow more freely – thus releasing tension and contributing to one’s overall health. This is true whether the individual has four legs or two (or eight, or fins, or wings).
Animals are highly sensitive, and they use those sensitivities to communicate – and to survive. They are highly attuned to their environments, and their health and well-being can be affected by their diet, their physical activity, and the emotional atmosphere around them. Just like humans, only they are more aware of the sensations related to these things – partly because their minds don’t go off on tangents the way ours do, and partly because they don’t rely on verbal language the way we do.
Animals are also sensitive to Reiki and, in my experience, they are often open to and appreciative of it. Like humans, animals can benefit greatly from Reiki’s ability to help them release tension and open the door for healing.
Sharing Reiki with animals also has a calming effect on humans, and Reiki can improve communication between animals and humans and deepen their relationship.
The more I share Reiki with both human and animal people, the more I see it make a difference in their lives. I love that, and I especially love teaching people to share Reiki so they can experience that for themselves!
My rates range from $75 (for remote sessions) to $125 for house calls. Contact me for pricing for classes and class schedules.
