FourPaws Petsitting - Ashtabula, OH - Saybrook, OH
Hello! I have been a bonded/insured Petsitter since 2008. I started working at a veterinary hospital kennel in 1990 & eventually became a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Manager in 2000 at the same Vet. Almost 6 years ago, I changed jobs to a more local vet & recently cut my hours there to p/t so I can petsit f/t….until I was offered to take over managing a dog boarding facility in Madison, OH. I’ve since left the veterinarian field in March 2020 to manage Dog Days Inn as of April 2020.
I’ve had dogs since I was 12 & in the past, I’be been a petmom to snakes, chinchillas, guinea pigs, rabbits, and currently own 3 cats, a 7yr old lop bunny, 14yr old husky, 2y old Leonberger, & 14 week old Leonberger.
As a previous kennel manager, I’ve realized some dogs/cats don’t care for the caged life while they’re owners are away & so a Petsitter I became! For dogs, I normally visit 3-4x/day, for cats 1-2x/day or every other day. I retrieve the client’s mail/paper, rotate lights, water plants, able to give medications/insulin injections, etc.
Looking forward to meeting new pets & their people!
