Eye to Eye Dog Training - Portsmouth, RI
Eye to Eye Dog Training offers customized private, in-home training and behavior services designed to meet clients' needs and training goals. These goals may range from basic skills through preparation for therapy dog certification. Owner Kim Cipolla has been working with dogs and their humans for over 18 years, and has extensive experience with all sizes, ages and temperaments. Her focus is on developing the relationship between the dog and their handler through the use of clear, consistent cues and body language. With an emphasis on rewarding “good” behaviors and ignoring and redirecting undesirable behaviors, she will show you how to communicate with your dog effectively and thoughtfully to achieve your goals.
Kim also specializes in addressing behavior problems common among dogs adopted from shelters and rescue organizations. She teaches basic skills and provides solutions to typical unwanted behaviors such as leash reaction towards other dogs, housebreaking, inappropriate greetings, and unreliable recall. She is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), fully insured and an AKC-approved evaluator for Canine Good Citizenship titles.
