Debenyu Pet Reiki and Readings - Nationwide
I am a Reiki Master(also certified in animal reiki) in Philadelphia who works on humans as well as animals. I was a vet tech for 13 years and currently run a full time pet sitting and dog walking business.
With animals (especially ones that I don't know), I feel out what they are comfortable with. Sometimes they do like a hands on approach and will flop in my lap. Others feel that the energy is too strong and they prefer to just be a few feet away. If that is the case I will send reiki energy to them without touching them and if they choose to come closer, that is great! I aim for 30 minute sessions, animals tend to only tolerate it for so long. They will let you know when they have had enough. It is great for arthritis, loss of appetite, GI pain, upper respiratory infections, anxiety, etc.
I can communicate with your pet during reiki sessions or separately. It is helpful to ask questions about behaviors that they might be exhibiting that cause you concern. Or if you just want to know what they are thinking!

I began practicing on my own animals as well as clients animals who were in hospice situations. I learned what to look for and how to feel out each case. I started practicing readings on the pets of other pet professionals after a read a friends dog.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Every pet has feelings and preferences and opinions. They want to be loved and they want to be heard.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
