Pre-Session Consultation
Either by phone or in person we discuss your wishes and ideas for your portrait session. Location, time of day, type of portrait desired: close ups, conformation or ‘at liberty’ (i.e.-playing) for horses and dogs, formal or candid shots with your pet and ‘their’ person.
The consultation is important to ensure that we are sharing the same creative vision.
The Photo Session
Travel to your location (fee added over 35 miles). The session time is flexible because animals may take time and it’s important to be patient to get the best results.
If your dog know tricks or has favorite toys we can photograph that also. I want to create a portrait that depicts their unique spirit and personality. One you can look at and smile every time you see it on your wall.
Presentation
Approximately two weeks after your session, we can schedule an appointment for you to see your photos at the studio. At this time we will discuss ordering options. There is a wide variety of sizes and finishes of prints and canvases, photo groupings, and books as well as creative art paintings that can be done.
Portrait Delivery
Approximately two weeks after your presentation your finished portraits will be ready for pick up. Each 8 x 10 and larger will be mounted with high quality art board and sprayed with a UV coating.
