Dr. Carol Earls is a dedicated veterinarian with a passion for ensuring that pets have a peaceful and stress-free end-of-life experience. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000 after starting her career teaching high school. With a strong desire to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian, she returned to veterinary school, and her love for animals has been her guiding force ever since.
Dr. Earls and her family relocated to Seattle shortly after her graduation, where she worked as an associate veterinarian in private practice for 13 years. Eventually, she fulfilled another dream by owning and operating her own practice for 7 years before selling it. Family is at the center of Dr. Earls' life, with her husband and three children, including a daughter who resides overseas with her husband and their beloved dog, Gimli, and two teenage sons who share a deep connection with the family's pets.
Throughout her career, Dr. Earls has embraced various aspects of veterinary medicine, including preventative care, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia. Her desire to provide a stress-free and compassionate end-of-life experience for pets and their families has led her to focus on in-home euthanasia. Outside of her veterinary profession, Dr. Earls enjoys an active lifestyle, including running and hiking, along with reading, building meaningful friendships, watching high school soccer games, and traveling. Currently, her family includes two dogs, Arie and Uno, and a guinea pig named Fluffernutter, all of whom are cherished members of their household.
