Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist/Pet Health Coach - Nationwide
Research has shown that over the past 10 years, people have become more health conscious and are seeking a more natural lifestyle. Over 30 million dollars per year is spent on alternative treatments such as acupuncture, animal reiki, chiropractic care, herbal medicine, aromatherapy, acupressure, yoga and massage. These same people are now choosing similar type care for their pets.
While alternative care in not a replacement for traditional veterinary care, many people choose to incorporate some type of alternative care with traditional veterinary care.
I'm Lori Gammon-Megginson, the founder and heart behind The Peaceful Paw. Originally from Charlotte, NC, I now call Murrells Inlet, SC, home, where live with my wonderful husband, Keith, and our four beloved dogs: Daisy Mae, Blossom Belle, and Lily Louise and Jethro Bodine.
The Peaceful Paw was born from a deep love for my special bulldog, Ike, who passed away in 2014 at the remarkable age of 14. Ike was a rescue who profoundly shaped my views on canine care, especially in his later years. As I explored holistic methods to improve Ike’s quality of life, I uncovered the harsh reality of harmful chemicals and toxins in mainstream pet products. This discovery led me on a journey to find safer, more natural alternatives for our furry friends.
What began with offering canine massage and acupressure has now evolved into a broader mission. Today, The Peaceful Paw also provides Pet Health Coaching and expertise in Canine Nutrition. My goal is to empower pet parents with the knowledge and tools they need to give their companions the best care possible.
I provide Zoom consults all over the U.S. for Canine Nutrition and Holistic Pet Health Coaching.
I also provide in-home Canine Massage sessions for my local clients in Surfside, Garden City, Murrells Inlet and Pawley's Island SC

Each additional pet will be 50.00- You will receive a written report with recommendations.
This package includes an initial 1 hour Zoom call or phone call and 4 follow up video chats or phone calls for 1 month (one session per week) This is a better package if you feel that you need support for a longer time for a diet transition or if your pup is experiencing mild allergy related symptoms like chronic itching, ear infections or anal gland issues. Each week, we will discuss an important component of feeding fresh food diets, including rotation, variety, nutrients and more! For more chronic conditions see the Complete Wellness Package. The foundation of this package is rooted in nutrition- a healthy gut supports a healthy immune system. Optimizing gut health using natural and holistic methods will be the first thing we focus on. The other key features of this package include a comprehensive review of medical history including labs and imaging, discussions on how to remove toxins and chemicals from the home, and methods for tackling your pet's specific condition completely tailored to their needs. You'll start with an initial one-hour consultation to get established and devise a plan and schedule that works best for us, with an additional six follow-up sessions over the course of three months (2 sessions per month) Your initial consultation plus one of those six follow-up sessions are FREE (a 300.00 value) This price is for one pet only. In my Complete wellness package, we will take a deep dive into your pet’s specific issues and conditions and come up with an action plan tailored to their needs AND yours.
