Brushwork Portraits - Pet Portrait Artist - Nationwide
Did you know that you don’t need to send the “perfect” photo to me to get a great pet portrait painting that you love? Artists were put here to create! So, don’t stress if you don’t have the perfect photo! What’s not "perfect" can be transformed, what isn’t there can be imagined, what you don’t like can be painted away and who or whatever is missing can be added... Send me your favorite snapshots and we’ll create the perfect painting together. (That doesn’t mean you can’t send me a photo that love! I’ll definitely be happy to paint that into a work of art, too!) Hand painted custom portraits are a great addition to compliment any living space. These one of a kind portrait paintings make an unforgettable and treasured gift that you'll be delighted to give and anyone would be happy to receive.
The pieces shown here are examples of previous work. Your portrait will be hand painted using your photos.
I combine traditional painting methods with a modern edge using the digital version of the mediums that I've worked in for decades: charcoal, pen and ink, pastels and watercolor. Your finished painting is printed using archival giclee inks on archival quality artist paper.
Please contact and book me on Petworks. Thank you.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Every pet is unique with it's own personality that visually shows through in it's eyes, especially, but also in the way it carries itself: the way she stands or walks, and sits or lays; the way he tilts his head, and faces he makes. All these nuances are important for artist to be able see and translate into a painting.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I love painting pets and I know each one is unique and special to it's pet parent.
