BOARD & TRAIN And DAY TRAINING These programs are our most popular courses, where your dog stays with us for about 2-6 weeks either 24/7 or during the day, Monday through Friday and will be trained for by one of our experienced, certified, professional dog trainers. This is ideal for owners that do not have the time or energy to do the training themselves. After the board & train course is completed, you will receive a 1-hour lesson, at our facility. You are also welcome to return anytime within a year of completing your board & train course to do two one-on-one private lessons at our location with one of our certified trainers, free of charge! This offers you a great opportunity to refresh your dog’s training, work around distractions, and enhance your handling skills. How long your dog stays with us will depend on its trainability and whether you choose to do only on-leash training or off-leash training as well. The exact time is determined after a consultation evaluation. **We can provide crate training and potty-training foundation upon request. Cost: $550 per week.
Does not include lodging (From $19 to $43 per day depending on the program and the weight of your dog)
Vaccinations required: Rabies, DHPP or DAP, Bordetella. Bordetella must be within a 6 month period.
Hello.
Thank you for contacting us about our Board & Train Behavior Modification Program!
Any display of aggression, reactivity, anxiety, or fear in dogs should always be taken seriously because the behavior will typically escalate over time without treatment.
There are numerous causes and reasons for dog aggression, anxiety or fear and it’s very important to identify the specific cause(s) to develop an appropriate course of training and behavior modification that will result in the best outcome for your dog.
We offer free, no obligation consultation for you and your dog at our facility. These consultations typically take about an hour. During your consultation, one of our experienced trainers will assess your dog’s personality and behavior, which will assist in identifying possible causes behind your dog’s aggression, anxiety, or fear. Upon completion of the consultation, we will make recommendations on the appropriate training course for you and your dog.
We specialize in behavior modification (aggression & fear) and everything in between. This is our most popular course. The minimum age requirement for this program is 4 months. With this program your dog stays with us from 2-6 weeks, depending on the program you choose, and is trained for you by a professional. This is ideal for owners that do not have the time or energy to do the training themselves. After the training is completed, you will receive a 1-hour lesson, at our facility.
You are also welcome to return anytime within a year of completing your Board & Train course to do 3 one-on-one private lessons at our location with an instructor, free of charge, depending on the course you choose! This offers you a great opportunity to refresh your dog’s training, work around distractions, and enhance your handling skills.
How long your dog stays with us will depend on your dog’s trainability and whether you choose to do our on-leash training or off-leash training as well. The exact time can be determined after a consultation evaluation.
The training fee is $650 per week (10% off the second dog.) This does not include the lodging at our partner, Chino’s Caring Kennel, which is calculated by your dog’s weight. The exact price depends on whether you choose to do on-leash training, off-leash, or behavior modification, and exactly how long your dog would stay with us. This does not include lodging and care. This cost is calculated by weight. The cost is between under 40 pounds: $38 to over 40 pounds: $43 per day.
We also have our Doggy Day-Training program. This is a 5 day a week program (Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday). You bring your dog for the same training during the day and pick your dog up before closing. We will be having a 30-minute training lesson with you at the end of each week. The training fee is $650 per week (10% off the second dog). The day lodging cost is between $19 to $21.50 per day.
The behaviors covered: socialization, counter-conditioning, desensitization, heel, how to walk on a leash without pulling, to automatically sit when you stop walking, to sit, down, come, stay, the place command (to lay down on a bed and remain there until released) and door crashing (to wait at a door or gate until invited to pass through). All these behaviors will be taught using a 6-foot and 30-foot leash with distractions. We would also cover manners and any issues that are causing you stress as well as socializing around dogs, cats, and people, too.
We also have an Off-Leash training program, and a Service Dog Training Program. Ask one of our certified trainers for more details.
We invite you to schedule a no-cost consultation, by contacting using Petworks phone/video chat function, which we can further discuss this course and other training options. At that time, we can evaluate your dog’s trainability and discuss your goals. This also offers you the opportunity to see our facility, meet some of the trainers and learn more about our training methods. Consultations can be scheduled Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturdays from 9am-2pm.
We look forward to hearing back from you soon!

Hello.
If you have lots of time, patience and energy on your hands, then private 1:1 training is the way to go. You and your dog will be assigned a trainer and you will be guided through our basic obedience program. You can have your lessons at our facility in Chino or in your home, within a maximum 25 mile radius of our facility. The course lasts four weeks and you will have one 1-hour lesson a week. Furthermore, we can fit around your schedule and can offer evening lessons or Saturdays.
To get the most out of this course, you will need to commit to 45 minutes practice each day in between lessons. You trainer will demonstrate each command and show you how to properly train your dog, but essentially you are the trainer on this course. Your trainer will also teach you how to work with your dog on a 30ft long line. In addition, we will cover:
Housebreaking
Digging
Chewing
Jumping
Biting
Barking excessively
Counter surfing
Wait at doors and gates
Place, or go to bed
Polite greetings at the front door when guests arrive
Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, etc. (Includes all from our Basic Class) plus Socialization
We can also custom-tailor this course to focus on a particular issue that you may be experiencing with your dog.
