Atta Pup - Private Puppy Training - Multi-Certified - Hagerstown, MD
Here at Atta Pup, I help dogs learn what we want them to do and empower them to independently make their own "good decisions."
I train with science! I'll use methods based on current research and rooted in psychology. I will never use or encourage the use of painful, scary, or irritating methods or "training tools." Muzzles and head collars are accepted, if the dog is trained to wear them.
I am a member of the Pet Professional Guild and hold CPDT-KA and PMCT certifications, as well as a graduate degree in psychology. I am also a CGC Evaluator, Team Facilitator for Atlas Assistance Dogs, and FSG-1 Instructor.
For private training, I realized all clients benefit from a package. I no longer offer single appointments, because I want to know what happens after I leave. Many clients choose to go with a custom package, starting at $565. Those who seek board and train may prefer my intensive packages that allow two appointments per week (starts at $1645.) This option is often "friendlier" than board and train, because you can play an active role in the training and know exactly what is happening to your best buddy during his sessions. Day training can be available for an additional fee but may not be applicable to all goals.
**NOTES**
There is a $15 travel fee per appointment for clients 15 miles away from Central Dawgma in Hagerstown.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Animals reasoning is very simple. If it works, do it. If we want our pets to follow "dumb human rules," we need to teach them the rules and then motivate them to make their own choices to follow them.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I want to help you and your pet. If I make a suggestion you don't understand, say something. If you decide you don't like it, we'll come up with something else.
