Affordable Dog Walking and Pet Sitting - Midland, ON
- RATE CUT IN HALF DUE TO COVID-19 -
I understand times are difficult so due to the pandemic rates are cut in half, as shown below. I also would like to note that services are altered for safety, as although this is an essential animal service we need to protect everyone's safety. This means there will be adjustments such as having the dog outside for pick up or passed through the door and put on my own leash so no contact with owners or household. Training sessions debriefs will be over the phone with video emailed to clients to show progress.
Basic Walk:
A 30 - 45 minute walk around the neighbourhood tailored to your dog’s needs. Is your dog older and slowing down? He can take a nice leisurely stroll and smell the flowers. Or is he excited to get out of the house and anxious to explore the world - we’ll walk at a brisk pace and expel some energy.
Adventure Walk:
A 45 min - 1 hour hike through the woods, and may include swimming in the warmer months. Perfect for the higher energy dog but can be adjusted for lower energy dogs as well. Give your dog the gift of new experiences outside of their daily routine.
High Intensity Exercise:
A 1 - 1 ½ hours jogging outing for high energy dogs that need more exercise to tire or relax. Depending on the dog, they may also have the chance to run with a bike or rollerblades.
Pack Walk:
A 45 min - 1 hour basic walk with 1 -2 other friendly and non-reactive dogs that I have personally assessed. Your dog must be assessed as safe around other dogs before participating in a pack wak.
Dog Training
Sessions last 1 - 2 hours and include homework for the owner and a debrief/report.
Types of Sessions:

How did you hone your craft?
As a child I started dog walking at only nine years of age, and soon after began dog sitting as well. It wasn’t until my teen years that I then transitioned to dog training; gaining wisdom from positive reinforcement trainers such as Victoria Stillwell and balanced trainers like Cesar Millan. Eventually in 2019 after working with a very aggressive and complicated rescue case (and falling in love with and adopting her), I decided to take the next step of starting a formal business and expanding my services.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Always be calm and fair!
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
This was my dream job as a kid to work with animals. Besides dogs I also love and have experience with cats, horses, and snakes!
