4 On the Floor was founded by Kelly Citrin, CPDT-KA, MBA with the training philosophy of patience, persistence & positive reinforcement, including praise & play. We offer AVERSIVE FREE, positive reinforcement dog training, behavior consulting, and socialization. We are passionate about each one of our human & canine clients, from puppyhood (starting at 8 weeks!)
through adolescence & adulthood.
We operate throughout Montgomery County & beyond to help you find the best solution for you and your pup!
Community service is at the core of our mission and we are proud to work in partnership with the City of Rockville, local community organizations, nonprofits, rescues, & more.

Kelly has been volunteering, coaching and teaching in the shelter/rescue community for over a decade.
How did you hone your craft?
Many years of shelter/rescue work as a volunteer, studying animal behavior, coaching and then off on my own! I am a science geek and study with world-renowned trainers every week!
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
If you are quiet and patient, it is amazing what your dog will offer you and what they are capable of!
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I am incredibly passionate about what I do and cater everything to each individual dog, especially fearful, anxious and reactive dogs
